September recap.

Being that I hit all of my reading goals for the year I'm not really motivated to hit a certain number of books monthly. I am, however, motivated to read my NetGalley books as soon as possible to maintain a high read review ratio ("feedback ratio" on the site). Currently, having been approved for 162 books (two of which archived before I could read them) and having reviewed 137, my ratio stands at 85%. Of the 26 I have available to me, I'm currently reading 18. Of those 18 seven have already been published, so I'd like to finish those up ASAP. Of the eight I haven't yet started reading three are due for publication in November and December of this year. So ideally, of the 26 books available to me currently, I'd like to read 21 at least. I don't foresee any obstacles that would impede my reaching that goal.

I finished reading 13 books in September.

  1. Backyard Pharmacy (mini) (Elizabeth Millard)
  2. Wonderland (Zoje Stage)
  3. Tiny Nightmares (edited by Lincoln Michel; Nadxieli Nieto)
  4. The Socialist Awakening (John B. Judis)
  5. The Deadly Hours (Susanna Kearsley; C.S. Harris; Anna Lee Huber; Christine Trent)
  6. Murder-Bears, Moonshine, and Mayhem (Luke T. Harrington)
  7. The Spiritual Poems of Rumi (Rumi; translated by Nader Khalili)
  8. Plutocracy (Abraham Martinez)
  9. The Love Poems of Rumi (Rumi; translated by Nader Khalili)
  10. The Most Beautiful Job in the World (Giulia Mensitieri)
  11. Deep Space (Robert Harvey)
  12. Jew-ish: A Cookbook (Jake Cohen)
  13. The Hollow Places (T. Kingfisher)
But who knows what the rest of 2020 has in store? I'll take my wins as they come, when I can.
