The page count does not denote the worth. [Tapestries by Rosita Sheen]

Because of my general interest in art and specific interest in yarn arts, I requested Tapestries by Rosita Sheen when my NetGalley shelf is already weighing heavily. Happily, the eBook runs 65 pages total. Somehow in that short amount of text a comprehensive amount of tapestry-related knowledge was thrown at me, a fastball. History covering the rise and fall and modern resurgence of the textile art was concisely presented in an engaging layout, alongside a wonderful curation of photographs and related artwork. Reading was an insightful guided tour through a gallery of European tapestry. For the art lovers, for the historians, for the crafters - for anyone interested I'm recommending this book. 5 stars from me.

Rosita Sheen's Tapestries was published December 2019.
